Organic Autumn Bartlett Pears

Bred by the famous orchardist and pear breeder, Charles Henry Packham, the Autumn Bartlett was born in Australia in the 1890s.
A sturdy member of the Bartlett family, the Autumn Bartlett is notable for its large size. A late bloomer, this variety is harvested towards the end of the season, making the most of the extra time with an exceptional increase in size and weight. The characteristically bumpy, light green skin doesn’t change color as it ripens. Compared to its dainty relatives, the Autumn Bartlett is a hardy creature, enduring storage for up to nine months with little to no effect on its flavor or appearance. Similar in flavor to the Bartlett, the Autumn Bartlett is deliciously sweet, with a slightly firmer texture.
